Betty G Miller was a deaf artist who is called the "mother of De'VIA. She taught at gallaudet university for 18 years, and quit teaching to co-found spectrum. She was in many art shows all over the U.S, and was inspired by Dr.Kenneth Beittel, Nancy Creighton, and her father, Ralph R. Miller Sr.

What is De'VIA?
De'VIA is short for "deaf view image art", and is supposed to represent deaf culture and views. It can have metaphors, perspectives, and insights on the world around them.
