Betty G. Miller was born to deaf parents and had two hearing brothers. Her hearing loss wasn't discovered until kindergarden. She went to regular schools for elementary,middle, and high school, but went to Gallaudet University for college.In her last years alive, she suffered from memory and cognition loss, so she painted less and more spontaneously. She passed away on December 3, 2012 at age 78.
